The OnPreNotify handler executes on the subscribing node prior to the creation and execution of subscription contracts. In the PeopleSoft Service Operation Handler definition, this handler type is designated by Handler ID PRNF and labeled “On Pre Notify”.
While standard OnNotify subscription handlers execute per contract to process application business logic, OnPreNotify runs once when the message arrives. It has access to all segments of data in a partitioned or segmented message.
Handlers configured for OnPreNotify must implement the PS_PT:Integration:IPrePostNotification interface:

In OnPreNotify, it calls ADSTableTruncation() to ensure staging tables are cleared before the inbound dataset contracts run:
